You have excellent bone structure but are beginning to show the normal signs of the ageing face, such as the jowls that cross over your jawline. There is no perfect age to have a facelift or neck lift: ageing shows itself differently with each person based on genetics, environmental effects, health, etc. If a patient is tired of seeing the gravitational effects of the ageing face, then that person is a good candidate. In your case, it does appear that your anatomy would lend itself to a lovely result; however, a physical examination would be necessary. Solely based on your photos, I also see that the corners of your mouth are a bit turned down, which can make you look unhappy or upset when you are not. Carefully administered doses of Botox or another neurmodulator injected into the DAO (depressor anguli oris muscle) can combat this. Since you mentioned your nose, it does appear to be a bit bulbous, and I often perform rhinoplasty surgeries along with my facelifts. The overall most important aspects of this entire process are: keeping you safe, which is number one, and two, producing an elegant, natural result. The last thing that anyone needs is to look pulled or “done.” Because terminology is not standardized from office to office, and one surgeon might call a short-scar facelift a “minilift” and so on, I recommend you consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon whose results you love. Bring all of your questions and see if you feel comfortable. Make sure the surgeon is not rushing you, and make sure that he or she is available to answer preoperative, as well as postoperative, questions.
