I don't like my nose or my lower face. What can I do to improve my appearance? Included are photos of myself at the present time as well as myself 17 years ago.
Answer: Lower facelift and rhinoplasty Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. To start with, protecting your skin elasticity from sun damage is a very important part of the successful facial rejuvenation and maintenance. If you are not already using sunblock on a daily basis, I would strongly advise it, irrespective of the weather. A lower facelift procedure is likely to improve the counter of the jawline and reduce the lines that form both at rest and when smiling . It is difficult to be sure from the photograph, but a neck lift may also be of benefit. This however would require better images to evaluate or even better a consultation in person. The appearance of the nose is interesting part by the camera. The most common camera used these days is on the mobile phone and unfortunately produces distorted images. Generally, the tip of the nose looks bigger than in reality. You would need a consultation in person to get a clear appreciation of your features and balance before you make a decision regarding surgery. The lines on the bridge of the nose when smiling can be addressed successfully with botulinum toxin.

Answer: It's time for that Advanced MiniLift and some skin resurfacing. From the photos, the Advanced MiniLift under local would give such great results and is so easy to undergo. It fixes the jawline and neck quick and safely. Never go under general if you can help it. Cost is on special currently for just $15,000 and is so worth it. Also you need the skin resurfaced on the face, neck and probably chest which is easy to undergo at the same time as the minilift since everything is numbed up nicely. Morpheus and TCA peel together would do the trick for an additional $5000. Then everything would look rejuvenated and great.

Answer: Depends on your goals 1. Skin care routine to address the sun damage in photos2. As we age we lose volume, you can couple with skin tightening procedures to smooth periorbital region. This will help with the volume loss you are experiencing on the soft tissue overlying your nose. You have thin skin so it makes your underlying anatomy more noticeable3. Rhinoplasty - will address the tip and other features you maybe unhappy with4. Facelift - tightens the underlying soft tissue and redrapes the skin In the end it all depends on your aesthetic goals. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon can help you fine tune a surgical plan.

Answer: Consider your options for achieving your aesthetic goals Thank you for your question and for providing photos. A combination of rhinoplasty and a neck lift procedure are likely your best options for improving the appearance of these areas. Rhinoplasty can reshape the nose to create balance with your other facial features. Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. A neck lift procedure can revitalize the appearance of the throat and jawline by tightening the muscles that can cause horizontal banding, as well as removing excess skin to create a smooth, long-lasting result. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques, who can address your concerns and inform you of what you may expect from both procedures.
