Thank you for your question and photos. When comparing your edited photo to the original, the area you altered would most likely be addressed with a buccal fat pad removal. This surgical procedure is ideal for improving cheek and jawline definition while reducing a rounded appearance in the lower part of the face.
Since buccal fat tissue is not regrown, the results of this fat pad removal are permanent. In cases of the masseter muscle hypertrophy the muscle can be excised. It is done through the mouth and only a portion of the muscle is removed. This technique is effective and permanent. However there is some down time related to the swelling and healing process similar to what you go through for wisdom teeth removal.
