I’m so insecure about the lower half of my face. I have a slight underbite and I am hoping with braces that will help but I hate my side profile specially my jaw. The shape of it I just do not like and I would like to make it more square looking. I was researching filler thinking that could help get me the desired look I want.
Answer: Jawline filler can be a good non-surgical option If you're looking to enhance the shape of your jaw and create a more defined or square appearance, jawline filler can be a good non-surgical option. Fillers can add structure, improve symmetry, and contour the jaw to better suit your goals, especially if you're self-conscious about your side profile. Since you have a slight underbite and are undergoing orthodontic treatment, it's smart to coordinate aesthetic enhancements with your dental plan. In some cases, chin filler is also used to balance the lower face and improve facial harmony. If you're seeking more dramatic or permanent changes, surgical options like **jaw implants** or genioplasty may be worth exploring in the future, but fillers are often a good starting point with less downtime.

Answer: Enhancing Jawline Aesthetics: Options for a More Defined and Square Appearance To achieve a more square jawline and address concerns about your side profile, there are several options you might consider: Orthodontic Treatment: Since you mentioned having a slight underbite, continuing with braces is a good step. Orthodontic treatment can help align your teeth and improve your bite, which may enhance your overall facial profile. Dermal Fillers: Fillers can be used to add volume and definition to the jawline, helping to create a more squared appearance. This non-surgical option can provide temporary results and is customizable to achieve the desired look. Jawline Contouring: In addition to fillers, other non-surgical options like Botox can be used to relax the masseter muscles, which can subtly alter the jawline's appearance. Chin Augmentation: If the chin's shape is a concern, chin augmentation with implants or fillers can enhance the chin's projection and balance the profile. Surgical Options: For more permanent changes, surgical procedures such as genioplasty (chin surgery) or jaw surgery can reshape the jawline and address structural concerns. Consultation with a Specialist: It's important to consult with a maxillofacial surgeon or cosmetic specialist who can evaluate your facial structure and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan to achieve your goals. Each option has its benefits and considerations, and a professional consultation will help determine the best approach for your specific needs and desired outcome.

Answer: Facial contours Filler would be a great option for you, especially if you are considering orthodontic treatment, since filler results are temporary and reversible (if HA fillers are used). There are various fillers available to address different contour concerns. Another benefit of fillers is that you can go slowly and build up to the look you are wanting. Visit with an expert injector near you to learn more.
