Sebaceous Hyperplasia: Unsuccessful laser treatments.

I've had two unsuccessful laser treatments for a spot on my forehead (called sebaceous hyperplasia). Yesterday my dermatologist decided to burn the spot off, which has now left a small hole on my forehead! I thought the gland would be zapped, scab, then fall off. I wasn't expecting a wound. I've since been putting Vaseline on the spot but what is the best treatment to prevent a divet scar? Should I keep it covered? Any sugggestions would be appreciated.

I recommend using a silicone gel with growth factors and following up with your Dr. about after care for scar prevention. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
