How saggy are my breasts for a 32-year-old? (Photos)

Question

Hi there I am 32-years-old. I have never had a round breast shape, and although I have had weight fluctuations, I've never been extremely overweight. I have stretch marks on the right breast especially. I would like to know to what degree of sagging I have, how worried should I be? My confidence has dropped as they have got saggier from 23-32years. Please could you make some suggestions in order from least to most invasive. Kind regards

I actually don't think your breasts are that "saggy". You have a bit of pseudoptosis, or fake droop, meaning that you the majority of your breast tissue hangs below your fold while the nipple stays in relatively normal position. To offer a rounder, perky appearance, I'd recommend a breast lift with a short-scar, otherwise known as a "lollipop scar". We can use some of the tissue on the underside of your breast to augment what you have if you are not interested in a breast implant. Recovery is less than a week. All my best.

You have a very common complaint and one that can only be appropriately treated with a lift and under the muscle implants. You will have some scarring (lollipop shape) but it is the only method to provide the look that will make you happy.

In the Renault scale of breast ptosis you are probably a grade 2.  You would benefit from a vertical lift and an implant for more volume if you would like.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The
best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  With that
being said, based on your photographs, the best shape and contour could be
achieved with an implant and a breast lift. Your nipple sits below the
inframammary fold and without a lift in addition to the implant, this will not
have a natural shape.  A breast lift with an implant can result in a very
nice shape if good technique is used.  The size, profile, and shape of
the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

From the Photos that you have shown it appears that you would benefit from breast implants being placed. The implants will restore your breast volume for sure. Other than that you may need to have a small, around the nipple, lift. I recommend you schedule a consultation and measurements can be taken at that time. Make sure you see an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Thank you for you question and photos,      The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars.  The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc).  It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. You are very fit and have moderate breast ptosis. It could be improved with a simple vertical breast lift (lollipop) or a lift with implants. Your breast look good and coukd be made great. Thank you for your question and photos.  Based on your pictures you have a mild amount of ptosis or sagginess.  This could be do to the fluctuations in your weight over time.  If you just want a lift without more fullness, a vertical breast lift would most likely be the best choice.  Adding an implant can give you more fullness and shape.  It all depends on your goals.  I would recommend an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to better assess the degree of ptosis and help you make your decision based on your overall goals for size and shape. As you have described well and is noted by your pictures your breast have a tear drop shaped breast with a moderate degree of sagging. To answer your question it really depends on what are you are looking to achieve. It is not a cookie cutter type of deal and not one size fits all. Each case needs to be evaluated according to each patient. It can include placing implants or not. Doing a limited breast lift such as a periareolar breast lift all the way to a full wise pattern breast lift (anchor scar). So it really depends on your desires. Consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon that will take his time to go over your case, look at your desired look by pictures you bring and show you pictures of his cases in order to have the proper understanding and plan how to achieve your desired look.Good Luck!
