I had a baby and now my breast have fallen what can I do ? And what are gummy bear implants? I want something natural . Not sure if A lift alone will be big enough . I am a 40d id prefer to be a C cup 36C to exact
Answer: Can I get away with only having a lift? (Photo) Your nipples are below your inframammory crease, and that is an indication that you need a breast lift. If you want to be larger as well, either implants or fat grafts can be done at the same time. Also if you want to be smaller, a slight reduction may be indicated, which will give you an uplift. I do not recommend the gummy bear implants to anyone. They do not look more natural and still can get encapsulations, and there is an increase risk of an aggressive form of lymphoma (cancer). You certainly have enough tissue to have only the mastopexy (uplift) and still look very good in my opinion. Thank you for your photos and question, and best of luck to you.

Answer: Is a lift enough? Your breasts are moderatly large and ptotic(droopy). You did not say if you were planing on having more children, but because of your age, i would assume this a possibility. In my opinion, the best cosmetic result would be achieved by having a lift alone. However, if you are wanting alot of fullness in the top of the breast, an implant would be necessary to achieve this but would make you much larger and look much less natural.

Answer: Lift or No Lift? Hi Ap3018, Determining whether you need simply a breast implant versus a breast lift or both can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often use an implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. Also, breast implant selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast evaluation Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With that being said, based on your photographs, you could either have a breast lift or a breast lift with an implant. It depends on your goals for surgery. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: The Bellesoma Method Thank you for your question and photo, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Usually patients do not go down in size very much with this technique. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski
