Weird smile after fillers: Juvederm Ultra in my nasolabial lines and 1ml of Juvederm Volift in lips. (Photos)

This is most likely due to the placement of filler in the nasolabial folds. I recommend a combination approach for this area to get the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. The swelling should be resolved at this point after treatment.  I recommend returning to your injector for an evaluation.  You can try to touch up with filler to smooth out the area more, or do the opposite and dissolve the filler that  is causing the lines around the mouth.  An examination should help with which is most advisable.

I appreciate your concern. If it has been less than 2 to 3 weeks then wait for the swelling to get better. If you're pretty far out from the time of injection then consider seeing your injector. You could dissolve the product or get a touch up. See what they recommend!Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
