How long should I wait to get lip fillers after using clexane injections?

Hi CarlyMB!I appreciate your concern as Clexane is a blood thinner used to treat/prevent deep vein thrombosis. The half life of Clexane is 4.5 hours. However, if I was doing this injection I would ask you to wait 7 top 14 days depending on what other medications you're taking and your overall health.
A better idea is to discuss this medication and your medical history in great detail with your future injector/physician before having the procedure performed.

Thanks for your question and your medicine is a blood thinner – and although it is not a contraindication for lip injections, one may bruise a little more than average if they are done.  I would make sure you visit a skilled injector, make sure they know you are taking this, and use ice, ice, ice after the procedures.
