How soon after Juvederm in my lips and around the mouth must I wait to use a facial depilatory cream like Nair? (Photo)

I would ask your injector. You may have some swelling which will gradually resolve in 1-2 weeks. I recommend waiting until your final results. I hope this helps.

I recommend following up with your injector about their recommended use of a depilatory after your injections. I would wait until the swelling, which can last 1-2 weeks has subsided. Best, Dr. Emer

Because you have some swelling immediately after injections that typically can last up to two weeks, I wouldn’t recommend using a facial depilatory this soon after your filler injections. My best advice would be to talk with your injector and get their recommendation regarding how long to wait before using a facial depilatory. Good luck!

I would ask your injector. If you were my patient, I would recommend you give the skin some time to heal and return to normal before applying a depilatory cream. That may take 1-2 weeks. 

Hi mmccmm, There would be issues using a depilatory cream one week post-filler treatment unless you are badly swollen or there is marked discoloration. Thursday is a little  too soon but please ask your Injector who can ascertain if it's ok.All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
