Looking at your photos as well as the  description of symptoms it is quite possible you've had a Herpes Simplex breakout. A typical lesions begins with a small blisters with yellow contents and yellow scab. To have a 3-days long bacterial infection of the soft tissue that  "oozes pus" would most certainly cause many more signs and symptoms that you are describing. Of course, you need to notify your injector and seek her/his directions.
