Answer: Correcting dark circles and hollowing underneath the eyes
Non surgical options to improve the appearance of the lower eyelids include hyaluronic acid injections with products like restylane which can improve the appearance of the dark circles as well as filling in the hollowing just below the area. Other options include surgical correction which can be done with a transconjunctival approach behind the eyelid leaving no visible scar which is a long term solution. I hope this information helps.

Answer: Managing Dark Circles Thank you for your great question! This issue might have been bugging you for a while now since you mentioned that you gained weight but not in your under eyes. While this seems absurd, you may actually be surprised but dark circles under the eyes are not relative to your weight. They might be brought about by factors such as genetics, aging, thyroid issues, as well as skin thinning due to sun damage.Dark circles may be treated using methods such as surgery or fillers. Laser and peels may also be used to boost the quality of the skin. For a more in-depth list of suitable options for your case and your skin type, you may want to discuss this down with your board certified plastic surgeon. He or she will be able to help you pinpoint the best option after thorough evaluation. Hope this helps you out!
