I am 30 and have been using fillers and Botox for 6 years. I am getting to the point of looking puffy and unnatural and am wanting some type of facelift procedure. My problem areas are my dark under eyes, deep nasolabial folds (when they aren’t filled), & fallen cheeks. I had one consultation and he suggested fat transfer but I don’t want to do that and add more volume & look even puffier. What facelift procedure would be appropriate for me?
Answer: Facelift You do not need a facelift. I can understand why you’re disappointed With the fillers. Fat injection will be no better. You have a lovely face and you should stop wasting money on things that don’t really do anything

Answer: Appropriate Procedure I would recommend a lower eyelid blepharoplasty and facial fat grafting. You have excellent skin quality and it is likely too early for a facelift / necklift procedure. I would avoid any more fillers in any of these areas as hylaruonic acid fillers can have this type of reaction "making people look puffy" in certain patients. I would highly recommend seeing a board eligible or board certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam and accurate analysis with safe recommendations for potential surgical options. Best of luck!

Answer: Unhappy with results of Botox and fillers: What are your options? Hello, thank you for posting your question. You do not have significant signs of aging that might require a facelift, but there are other options that can help you. A less extensive option would be cheek augmentation to help restore lost volume and definition. Restylane Lyft or Juvederm Voluma can provide a soft enhancement for the cheek and under-eye area. Fat transfer can be a good option for the face when it is done correctly, and surgical options like silicone cheek implants are also safe and provide long-lasting results. A liquid eye lift can also help with fine lines, bags, and discoloration using Juvederm or Restylane. Treatments like RF microneedling address skin at a cellular level, boosting collagen levels in the dermal structure for smoother skin. Working with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon can provide you with more insight and a fresh assessment of a personalized treatment plan, especially a surgeon that values natural results and innovative techniques.

Answer: Too puffy from fillers Hello, thank you for your question. This can happen over time with fillers, especially over the years. You have a great look. You do not need a facelift and even a facelift would not address your concerns. I suggest just waiting it out for 8-12 months, to allow some of the filler to dissolve and wear away. Doing a filler reversal is not a good option since sometimes and remove your natural hyaluronic acid from your face. Be patient, sometimes doing to much to quickly will only make things worse. You look great! see how you feel in 8-12 months and maybe then consider fat transfer, or a laser to address the darker pigment in your under eye, microneedling to rejuvenate the skin and produce natural collagen.

Answer: No facelift You are very young and attractive and do not need or would benefit from a facelift in my opinion. If you feel that you have been overfilled with fillers, I would let them dissipate and not add any more. I would offer you two options, either fat grafting in agreement with the surgeon who offered you that already or fillers but done in a conservative manner to not make you look puffy. My trademark Model Lift TM does exactly that which is to enhance your natural features without surgery using fillers and muscle relaxants (ie Restylene and Dysport). I hope that helps, and I've talked you out of having a facelift at age 30.
