It’s always important to remember that there is something called a ‘variation of normal’ and we are individual because of these, otherwise we would all look the same. It’s also easy to try and fit yourself into an image of perfection and that is often influenced by what we see in the media. Ask yourself what part of your face you think you don’t like or what you feel most conscious of, or like to see more of. Discuss with a close and trusted friend. If you are covering the side of your face with your hair it must be something under your hair or how that relates to the rest of your face, that concerns you. As pointers to what might be your concern, the profile appearance of the face is denoted by the definition and angle of the jawline, the neck line, the shape of the chin, lips, nose and forehead. All these can individually be changed to improve appearance or, one or more changed together to achieve a desired appearance. I hope that helps you decide what you may want to change about your profile.
