Mainly for my forehead/temple region. I believe that my face looks very elongated due to the narrowness of my face. The structure of my face dents inward causing an off-balance of my face in general. It shows up especially in candid type photographs. I also have a weak-ish jaw if and chin, but I fear that getting a chin augmentation would further increase the length of my face. Yet, I need more width, so I'm conflicted. I want to be able to be confident in candid photos, not just close ups.

Answer: Options for increasing width of the face
Hello and thanks for the questions. From what I can see I believe your unhappiness stems from a lack of volume at the temples. There are a variety of options for you. One would be a deep injection of a filler called Sculptra to augment the temples and increase the collagen denisty here. I have also performed fat injection deep in the temples with very nice results. I would start here before augmenting the chin. A visit with a board certified surgeon who can morph your images will help you decide which procedures are the correct procedures for you! Best of luck!

Answer: I Want to Know the Options There Are for Increasing the Width of my Face?
Temple augmentation in a young healthy person may be best accomplished with filler supplied deeply. This will give you an idea of how you would look with something more permanent, if you decide you want it. I am not sure that I would do anything more aggressive to start. Answer: I question your self-diagnosis of your concerns.
I would be so very careful. First you have wonderful youthful beauty. So much so, that I am immediately concerned that you might fit into the body dysmorphic spectrum. That does not mean that you don't have a legitimate aesthetic issue. Most likely you do. However, it does mean that you have an overwhelming likelihood of miscommunication with your potential cosmetic surgeons. That profoundly increases the chances of having the wrong thing done. A therapeutic misadventure can turn you into a cosmetic surgery cripple forever. If you do decide to dabble in cosmetic surgery, I would stick to reversible non-surgical procedures with botox and fillers. I think surgery along the lines of what you are thinking will be a huge mistake.

Answer: Temporal Augmentation for Narrow Face
Based on the photos submitted, it is hard to see your exact concerns with your facial width issue. The only improveable issue that can be seen is some temple concavity which is what I think you mean by the narrowness of your face. Temporal augmentation by the placement of subfascial implants can be a simple and uncomplicated solution to that concern.
