My lids feel droopy & very heavy. (Blepharplasty/octoplasty) I feel as if I not only need my lids skin to be removed but also the muscle inside tightened.
Answer: Costs Costs for a blepharoplasty are going to vary by region and surgeon. My best advice would be for you to find the board certified plastic surgeons in the Bay area on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website and then call around for quotes. Answer: How much does it cost to have upper eyelid surgery? The cost for upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) will vary depending on some key factors. The first factor is where in the country are you having it done? Some areas don't have near the overhead that other larger cities have. The next point is who is performing the procedure? If it's an ophthalmologist the pricing will be different from that of a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon. The other consideration is if you have the surgery in an office setting under a local anesthesia, you will save on operating room and IV sedation costs. Your doctor will discuss all of these aspects with you and should provide you with written estimates, for any procedure you're considering.
