27 Years old with severe sagging upper eyelid skin, what can I do to correct this? (photo)

I was wondering what type of surgery I would need to correct saggy upper eyelids? Also want my eyes more cat like if possible. What would that be called? They were not deep set like this when I was younger and they always feel heavy now. Thank you

While it is impossible to say if you are a good candidate based on your photo alone, in general, if a significant amount of excess skin is present on the upper eyelids, an upper blepharoplasty would be a good option to consider. Upper blepharoplasty surgery can open up the eye area tremendously and create a brighter, more youthful lookWhen performing eyelid surgery, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon will make the incision inside the crease of the eyelid and suture underneath the lid, where the stitches cannot be seen. It is also fortunate that the skin on the eyelid is very thin and heals so well that the scars will be virtually invisible.I hope this helps!

I would suggest an upper eyelid blepharoplasty.  This would remove the excess skin and heaviness from the upper eyelid.I would not suggest trying to make your eyes more "cat like."  This often looks unnatural and you have a beautifully shaped eye

This is easy--lift your forehead skin above your brow and if you like this you need a brow lift only. If not you only need your upper lids done. If your hairline is high you should have the Irregular Trichophytic Incision which we invented so NO SCAR SHOWS!

You have some redundant skin and an indistinct crease on the upper lids.  An upper lid blepharoplasty can remove the excess skin, and create a more defined crease for you.  You don't have a lot of fat in the upper orbit, so will tend to always look a little hollow there.  No fat should be removed.

Based on your photo, it is likely that an upper blepharoplasty may help improve the skin creases created by redundant skin in your upper eyelids. Although you are a little younger than the average age of upper blepharoplasty patients, your condition certainly can be an indication for surgery.
I am not certain why your eyes would appear to be deeper set than previously.
Evaluation with a qualified surgeon should help you determine the best course and if there are any discoverable causes of the other changes in your eyes.

Additional photos taken directly in front (frontal), from the sides at angles (oblique), and from the sides (profile) would be helpful.Based on what can be seen from your one photo, a conservative upper blepharoplasty to remove excess skin would likely give you the results you desire.An in-person consult with a facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon who is experienced in blepharoplasty is important. This will allow the surgeon to understand what you wish to achieve with surgery and allow you to see before/after photos.Best of luck!

Excess skin can be present from a young age, while we all develop excess skin naturally with age. From the limited photograph, one can consider a conservative upper blepharoplasty to remove a small amount of skin. Non-surgical treatments with Botox or Dysport can help the eye area without surgery too. One other possibility would be trying upper lid/ sub-brow filler. From the one very limited photograph, it appears that there's an indistinct crease in some mild amount of excess skin on the upper lids. Very conservative skin only upper blepharoplasty can accomplish rejuvenating the upper lids in creating one crease.
