Hi this is probably a silly question but I’ve recently quit nicotine and I have a nose surgery in 6 weeks. I was wondering if smoking nicotine free vapes is fine before , during and after this surgery

Since eyes are right next to the nose, ocular damage during rhinoplasty is theoretically possible. We have not seen the scenario you describe after 23 years in private practice. Change in vision is not a recognized complication of rhinoplasty to our knowledge. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
