Hi.Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficulty cosmetic surgical procedure. So choose your surgeon wisely. When surgery done by an  experienced board certified plastic surgeon damage or paralysis of eye muscle is almost negligible. Hope I have cleared your doubt. Thanks for query. All the best.

Since eyes are right next to the nose, ocular damage during rhinoplasty is theoretically possible. We have not seen the scenario you describe after 23 years in private practice. Change in vision is not a recognized complication of rhinoplasty to our knowledge. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

No, the eye muscles are not anywhere close to where a rhinoplasty is being performed anatomically. Choose your surgeon wisely, since rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult procedures to  perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery
