The pictures are not very helpful because they don’t show you entire face and are of poor quality. It looks like you have a nasal hump and the tip is under projected. A rhinoplasty could remove the nasal hump and increase your tip projection. Further refinements can be made to your tip. An examination and of better pictures could confirm these suggestions.
From your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip can be lifted and thinned to make a nice improvement that looks natural as well. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.
There are a number of options for those with a droopy and bulbous nose tip. A traditional rhinoplasty will provide precise and long-lasting results. With recovery time usually taking two to three weeks, you must keep in mind that a traditional rhinoplasty is still a significant surgery that uses anesthesia and incisions to permanently reconstruct your face. However, some non-surgical options may be worth trying for patients looking to lift a bulbous nose tip without surgery. It is important to note that while a non-surgical rhinoplasty does not address a bulbous tip, by injecting the dermis with fillers and Botox we might be able to temporarily tighten and lift a dropping tip, without the pain or recovery time associated with surgery. Results last for up to 2 years following the non-surgical rhinoplasty, at which point your nose and facial skin tissue will slowly return to its natural state as it was before surgery.
The views you posted show a nose with a few strong features. There is the bump on the bridge. There is the bulbous tip, as you pointed out. The tip of the nose is strong in its forward projection away from your face, so moving the tip and the entire nose back closer to your face can help in making the nose less prominent. Finally, the tip sits low, and can be elevated upwards, still keeping the nose strong and masculine, but looking like all the parts fit together. We get all that figured out before surgery, by making and adjusting morphs to fit the patient's preferences.Remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes I described above require advanced techniques. For most noses, it's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. Your nose is also a perfect example of why computer imaging is mandatory in rhinoplasty. You need to know exactly what the surgeon is planning to accomplish -- what features he thinks he can change, and by how much he thinks he can change them. I always email morphs to my online rhinoplasty consultations. When you see the surgeon's goals in the morphs, you'll know whether he has an eye for an attractive nose, and whether he shares your opinion of what constitutes an attractive nose. You'll also know whether the changes he proposes are large enough to be meaningful to you, and whether he understands your wishes enough to address all of your priorities. How would you ever get that figured out without the morphs?!
hello thank you for your question and provided information as well... based in your question and the picture you showed you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty , in your case with technique open and elevate the tip.
Hello and thank you foryour question. Although an exam in person is ideal, from your photographsalone it appears that you may benefit from a hump reduction and a tip rhinoplasty where the nasaltip cartilage is modified for a more refined look. If your septum is deviated and you have breathing difficulty, a septoplasty maybenefit you as well. The next step foryou is to find the right aesthetic plastic surgeon. In yourrhinoplasty consultation, be sure your surgeon addresses all your aesthetic goalsand concerns specifically, and discusses the surgery details including theposition and size of the incisions used (with actual photographs and not justdigital animations), the risks and benefits of the procedure, recovery time, and post-operative course. Also, be sure to see plenty ofbefore-and-after pictures in men who have a similar nose appearance to yours, and preferably at different time frames (3 weeks out, 3 months out, etc) tomore accurately predict your own surgical outcome. After seeking out aboard-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery, Ithink the most important component of the consultation is to establish a goodconnection with your plastic surgeon. It’s the connection that allows youto clearly define your desired nose outcome goals, the first step of this wholeprocess. If you don’t feel you have a good connection with your plastic surgeonafter your consultation, he/she may not be the best surgeon for you.For more information onrhinoplasty, please refer to the link below.Good luck.Mark K Markarian, MD, MSPH, FACSHarvard-trained Board Certified AestheticPlastic Surgeon
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty which can be performed by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. You may also benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn up your tip slightly. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
