I have successfully nursed twins, and we are considering a having third child. I would also like to nurse this child. Does the MiraDry procedure have any potential to harm mammary glands or negatively affect a woman’s ability to breastfeed?
Answer: Breastfeeding after Miradry Hi there and thanks for your question! Miradry uses energy to directly target and eliminate your sweat glands in your underarm area. It does not effect your breast glands, lymph nodes, or other important structures in the axillary area. You are safe to breastfeed after your treatment. Best of luck with your future pregnancy!

Answer: Miradry Hi, thank you for your question! Miradry does not effect breast tissue. miraDry is the first and only FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment that safely and effectively reduces excess underarm sweat and odor. Patients typically see an 80% sweat reduction, 60% odor reduction, and a 50% hair reduction at 12 months. The treatment is noninvasive and takes about three hours to complete. Most patients see results after one treatment, though a second may be needed to reach the desired effects. The miraDry system targets and destroys sweat and odor glands in your underarms. These glands do not grow back once they are destroyed. miraDry's proprietary miraWave technology is the ideal wavelength for eliminating sweat and odor glands in the underarm. It non-invasively targets the area where the sweat glands reside and safely destroys them while cooling your skin for added comfort.

Answer: Breastfeeding after Miradry Great question! Miradry is a great treatment to permanently reduce under-arm sweat. It treats the skin in the underarm with energy directed to the level of 4mm which is where the sweat glands are. There is no affect on the breast tissue and therefore does not interfere with breastfeeding. Congratulations on your twins and I wish you well with your next pregnancy!
