It does not seem to be an occlusion, but more like bruising discoloration perhaps if a needle technique was used vs cannula. I would absolutely recommend monitoring it, and taking pictures over the next 24 hours then schedule a follow up with the person who did the procedure. Progressive pics to document changes are important in this case. Good luck.

Thank you for your question. I do not suspect that lip fillers will be of any help in treating xeostomia or cheilitis. In fact, until you have determined that the reason for your particular medical issues are benign and well controlled I would not have any injections into your lips.
