I am a 47 year old female dealing with facial "gravity" issues. My smile lines look like a frown, eyebrows too close to eyelids, chin loosing definition. I was considering ultherapy but someone suggested I try a liquid face lift. I would like to get expert advice from a board certified doctor.

Answer: Skin Tightening for the face with J Plasma, lasers, rf treatments, microneedling/prp, ultherapy, liquid facelift A combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with skin tightening for the face. I recommend J Plasma, lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, Co2), fillers, microneedling/prp, ultherapy and rf treatments to get the best outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Ultherapy versus liquid face lift These are two completely but complimentary rejuvenation non surgical techniques. Ultherapy is microfocused thermocoagulation of the deep dermis which stimulates collagen and hence facial lifting and tightening. It is particularly good and FDA recognised for non surgical facelift for jowls. Filler is injection of hyaluronate by needle or cannula to improve the shape and contour of your face, particularly the cheeks and under eye area. However, what both have in common are that they are non surgical, repeatable treatments, best done every 18 to 24 months for maintenance.
