Age for Ultherapy: I'm 30 years old, can Ultherapy be used as a sort of preventative for younger patients?

I am 30 years old with good skin but am starting to develop bad dark circles (also hereditary) and slight sagging around my mouth (yet I am thin). I am currently getting fillers to address these problems but was wondering if Ultherapy would be a better option to address these issues and prevent future issues? Also if you should continually get the procedure as you continue to age to keep building collagen?

Hello and thank you for your question. Ultherapy is a great treatment when used as a preventative measure to stimulate and maintain collagen production and slow the signs of aging. We use it in combination with other treatments such as Botox, Fillers, Sculptra, Lasers, etc. to optimize results. When used preventatively or for maintenance, it can be repeated every 1-3 years. Dark circles under the eyes are usually due to volume loss and pigment changes of the skin and respond better to fillers, lasers, and chemical peels. Generally for prevention the use of a good skin care routine can help, however we do use Thermage and Ultherapy as well, depending on the degree of laxity, and the quality of your collagen.
