Can I get Ultherapy with under eye filler?

Question

Can’t really tell a difference from under eye filler. I got the filler approximately 1 month ago. My goal was to fill out wrinkles under my eyes but just ended up blacking my right eye. I still have a slight darkness under my right eye.

Thank you for your question. You CAN get Ulthera with undereye filler. Ulthera will tighten the periocular skin and stimulate collagen in this area with thin skin. Ulthera can significantly improve the periocular skin appearance. The undereye filler will help correct your tear through/hollowness/darkness underneath your eye that could be making you look more tired than you are. I hope that helps. Good luck!

You should consider postponing the Ultherapy procedure since you've done fillers only 1 month ago. For the best results, Ultherapy should be done first and fillers should follow.

Radiofrequency skin tightening treatments such as Viora®, or the skin smoothing laser Fraxel® or Clear & Brilliant® are great options for tightening loose undereye skin. They are often best used in combination, over time.

However to solve your concerns, you may need Fractional Laser Resurfacing if it is crepey skin that needs tightening. Combining this with PRP, gives great outcomes. The only problem is the downtime associated with it.

It sounds like the first issue to resolve is the result of your under eye filler.  Return to your physician to review your pre and post treatment photos and your concerns.  That way you can determine if your next step is 1) more filler 2) dissolving filler (if the 'darkness' under your eye is from the filler) or 3) moving forward with another procedure.  Smoothing undereye wrinkles can be a multi-procedure process including any or all of the following: botulinum toxin to relax muscles causing wrinkles, resurfacing procedures like fraxel to improve skin quality if the skin is crepey or photodamaged , or a tightening procedure if the issue is primarily lax skin.  You can get closer to the lid margin using Thermage for tissue tightening (using it with a plastic eye shield in under the lids) than you can with Ultherapy so another question is the location of the wrinkles.I hope this answer was helpful.
