The cost typically varies from $2,000 to $3,000. Rarely is alar base reduction done by itself, but in certain cases you can avoid a lot more surgery and get a good result. Make sure to discuss with your surgeon how reducing the nostrils can affect the nasal tip. Sometimes the nasal tip can change in a way you might not like after the reduction. This procedure consists of making an incision on the inside or outside of the nostrils then removing a specific amount of tissue to reduce the size and/or make more symmetrical.
