Thank you for your question. I believe most of your asymmetry is from the lower eyelids, not the upper eyelids. &nbsp;The outer 1/2 of YOUR right lower eyelid is bowed and shows more white of the eye than the left. &nbsp;The outer angle of the YOUR right is also lower than your left. The outer angle is the where the upper and lower eyelids meet and form a V. &nbsp;I&nbsp;have corrected this type of asymmetry with a procedure called a lateral canthopexy. &nbsp;Additional views would be helpful &nbsp;

Thank you for your question. &nbsp;You&nbsp;need both a face and neck lift to improved the neck, jawline, and lower face. &nbsp;Neck lift alone will not correct the jowls and jawline. Face lift alone can help neck sagging a little, but will not deal with the vertical banding. &nbsp;

The top part of the ear protrudes a little, and this is accentuated by the middle part&nbsp;is retracted. &nbsp;Correcting the middle part&nbsp;is more difficult than the upper part. &nbsp;Normal protrusion of the middle and upper ear is approximately 20mm from the scalp.&nbsp;&nbsp;You would not require a full otoplasty to correct the upper part. &nbsp;Good luck!

My ears are in the correct position, they do not protrude, but when viewed from the front, the top part of both ears curves out in unnatural way. I'm not sure what is causing this (underdeveloped superior crus of the antihelix?) and if there's a surgical solution?

While doing the procedure now probably will not affect your rhinoplasty, I would not rush into this. &nbsp;If your result is satisfactory and you are not having problems with the chin implant, I would leave it alone. &nbsp;Sliding genioplasty is reasonable if you are having problems with the chin implant.&nbsp;

I had a rhinoplasty done in November and will be traveling constantly starting in March without more than a day off at a time for two years. I had a rhinoplasty &amp; chin implant and know I don't want to keep this for the rest of my life considering how young I am. I feel more comfortable all in all to do have a sliding genioplasty instead. Im worried about disrupting my nose healing or hurting it during the next surgery being so close to one another. Is this too soon? I don't have a lot of leeway.

How safe is it to get a chin implant removed and get sliding genioplasty 2 1/2 months post rhinoplasty?

You are a good candidate for rhinoplasty, neck liposuction and chin augmentation. &nbsp;Chin augmentation may be done with an implant or sliding genioplasty. I&nbsp;prefer the latter in younger patients. &nbsp;It is a more powerful method of augmenting the chin and flattening the neck. &nbsp;

I really don't have a problem with the front view of my face although, I really wish my cheeks were a little slimmer and showed more "cheekbone". I feel as I still have a "baby face" which I really dislike. What would I need done to correct my side profile as well as my "baby face"?

A face and neck lift would be required to eradicate the vertical creases in the face, and the fat pad and banding in your neck. &nbsp;In my hands, I would do a short-scar (aka "mini") facelift without going behind your ear. &nbsp;



Your noninvasive option: Kybella to dissolve the fat in your neck, botox to the neck band, continue scuptra and Ulthera. &nbsp;If you do these until your 60's, you will spend more money than the surgery, with less overall improvement. Also, health problems in the future can prevent you from having surgery.&nbsp;



On average, face and neck lifts last 8-10 years. &nbsp;About 10% of facelift patients will get another facelift. &nbsp;The surgery will push back the aging time clock but will not stop it. &nbsp;

I've been getting botox and juvederm for 5 years now. I've even done a year of microderma needling. My skin is overall good for my 50's. Recently I've noticed my lower half of my face is starting to droop. Is it better to prolong getting a facelift by trying other methods like Ultherapy and Sculptra or go straight for a facelift? If I do a facelift now will I just want another in my 60's?

It is fine to use these pads now. &nbsp;Although &nbsp;it takes 1 year for the nose to completely heal, your skin is OK&nbsp;to cleanse with the pads. &nbsp;The pads can help with oily skin, large pores, and thick skin. &nbsp;

10% Glycolic Acid and 2% Salicylic Acid are the main active ingredients!

Is it safe to use exfoliating pads 9 months after an open septorhinoplasty?

The septum has three layer-cartilage with mucosal lining on each side. &nbsp;With septal deviation repair, cartilage is removed from the center of the septum, leaving mucosal lining without much support. &nbsp;The safety of the piercing depends on the amount of septal cartilage left in the caudal strut. &nbsp;I would consult with your surgeon to get the best answer. &nbsp;Good luck!

I had a rhinoplasty/septoplasty. My doctor has broken my nose and I had a deviated septum. My doctor removed fascha from the low side of my head and put a grapht on my septum with it , and also took cartilage from my ear and put it on my left side where it was deviated. Do you think 18 months later it's okay to pierce my septum ? And do you think it would effect my nose physically or internally ?

L-struts are very common with septal deviation repair with or without rhinoplasty. &nbsp;A 1cm L-strut is standard to maintain support of the nose. &nbsp;However, some patients need a larger strut if the cartilage is weak, or can get away with a smaller strut if&nbsp;the cartilage is very strong. &nbsp;



Cold weather will not affect your septum, whether you have an L-strut or not. &nbsp;No need to worry. &nbsp;

I have a say .9 or 1 cm l strut left. I just am concerned... if it gets very cold out I visit NYC a lot.. is it bad because I am not like a regular person with a full septum? What is the disafvantage in my case?

Am I handicapped in anyway by having an L strut compared to full septum?

If the concha bullosae are large, they can contribute to nasal obstruction. &nbsp;I will reduce the size of the concha bullosae when indicated. &nbsp;I do not get routine CT scans prior to nasal surgery MOST&nbsp;of the time, but will occasionally in very crooked noses to rule out concha bullosae. &nbsp;

If your nasal congestion is worse at night, this is usually an inferior turbinate problem or nasal valve collapse. &nbsp;There are many ways to reduce the inferior turbinates, and some techniques work better than others. &nbsp;I would advise&nbsp;seeing an ENT/facial plastic surgeon for a thorough exam with nasal endoscopy. &nbsp;Good luck!

I had those surgeries to help with extreme congestion occurring when laying down The operations were performed with NO ct scan Doctor said he could see the deviation and the enlarged turbinates himself so a CT wasn't needed After surgery when things had improved but were not fixed I was given a CT scan that revealed concha bullosa Can I have surgery to fix this? Am I at greater risk for ENS? Does having 1st surgery rule out a surgery for CB? I am so scared and angry this wasn't looked at before.

Septoplasty/turbinoplasty but still had problems after. CT scan post op reveals concha bullosa. Can this be operated on?
