What could be causing severe neck and head pain 3 years after breast reduction?

I received a breast reduction in Columbia January 20 20 , I have been receiving severe neck and head pain only on the left side of my body since the surgery , every other day till today 3yrs! There is a small (Pea) size bump in my neck the at site of the pain that was not there before the surgery. I had a postop infection on my right breast, and was treating this before leaving the country, and the surgeon wanted to remove my implants, but I did not due to pandemic closing country. Diagnosis??

I'm sorry that you have had such issues since your surgery.  This is a unique situation and would require an examination and likely further testing to determine what may be occurring.  I encourage you to visit with your surgeon or family physician to start.  Other specialists may be recommended based on the assessment.

You need to see your family doctor for a proper assessment to see what the cause of your neck pain is. This may require further work up with imaging or a referral to a neurologist. Most commonly this is due to problems in your neck. If it happened immediately after surgery, it could have been due to improper positioning during anesthesia. It would be very unlikely to be due to a problem from the breast itself.

In regards to your breasts in particular, you should see a plastic surgeon. You need to explain to your surgeon why you have breast implants if you had a breast reduction performed. It would be prudent to examine the right breast in particular for capsular contracture if there was a significant infection present.
