Breast and areola reduction previously done - what can I do to correct asymmetry? (photos)

You have significant asymmetry after breast reduction. It appears that your reduction was done with 2 different techniques? Well planned breast reduction will correct this assymmetry but you have to have righjt surgeon. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

You may have a few different options here! If you were consulting in my office, I'd suggest a revision of the right areola reduction which could be done locally in-office. That would be the simplest option. But you may be happiest with revision breast reduction which would include re-sizing that left areola.

Thanks for your question! If your goal is optimal symmetry, then I think you could get by with just a reduction/lift on the right side. That would get a closer shape of the breast and the areola. Good luck!

Thankyou for your query. It seems these photographs are selfies so I may get the right and left wrong. Based on the photographs, the side with the large areola (?right side) needs a lift with areola reduction and the side with an irregular areola needs a revision of the areola. The two sides can be best matched with vertical scar mastopexy. Hello Eclectic739767.To improve symmetry first we would need to do a periareolar lift on the right side so the areolas will be at a more similar height and size. It is probable that we would need to do a second procedure to do a skin readjustment on both sides to remove the excess skin in the lower pole and improve shape.Let me knownif you have any questions.

At this time, I recommend The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.
