What is the actual amount of 1 cc of Voluma?

One cc, also called one milliliter, is just that a unit of volume measure. A teaspoon has 5 cc's for example. Voluma comes in sealed boxes in pre filled syringes by Allergan.We typically open these in front of our patients.

I am not sure what you are asking but 1 syringe is a 1cc of product, and this can be used to give lift to areas where you need voluma/contour.  Some people need more than one and sometimes touch ups need less, depending on what constitutes a natural apperance.  Best, Dr. Emer.

1cc of filler is about 1/5 of a teaspoon. So, it's actually not that much product. You can see why people often require multiple syringes. Voluma comes pre-packaged in a 1cc syringe. Maybe your injector didn't give you the full syringe? You should voice your concerns with her.

Voluma comes as pre filled 1 cc syringes and is an ideal treatment for enhancement of the mid face. It works beautifully to correct malar fat descension and aging of the mid face. In some case it is been shown to last up to 2 years. It is not FDA approved for any other location other than mid face. It is a deep injection just off the bone and requires expertise in injecting. It should only be injected by a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. I would recommend you discuss your issue with a board certified dermatologist.
