Radix Augmentation with Medpor (EPTFE) Implant - Denver, CO

I had a horizontal Glabellar Crease, my whole life and didn't like how I noticed it all the time. When I looked in the mirror or reviewed photos of myself, That's all I ever noticed. Because I noticed that crease between my eyes above the bridge of my nose all the time. I naturally assumed everyone that looked at me noticed it as well and I felt subconscious about it.

I posted my concern with photos on RealSelf, December 8, 2015 and received much appreciated responses. From plastic surgeons around the country as well as local surgeons here in Colorado. I ended up contacting several surgeons through realself that responded to my post for consultations. The one surgeon that really caught my attention with his knowledgeable response. I went into SHAH AESTHETIC, with Dr. Manish Shah, for Minor Rhinoplasty where I Received Radix augmentation with a Medpor (ePTFE) implant. I had consultation with Dr. Manish shah, on December 22, 2015, pre-op on December 30, 2015 and my surgery on January 8, 2016 under local anesthesia. I knew what I wanted and did not hesitate or have to worry about waiting. I've waited my whole life to have this problem solved. I did not hesitate to get surgery as you can see from how soon I posted my concern on RealSelf,(December 8) to getting surgery from Dr. Manish Shah. (January 8).

I'm a healthy, fit, 25 years old male, I workout 6 days a week and was a perfect candidate for this procedure. I would have gotten this procedure years sooner if I was able. I was able to get this procedure now at the age of 25 because I'm financially stable and have lots of disposable income. Something I didn't have when I was younger, it takes time to aquire.

I'm still recovering from the surgery and will post final pictures when all the bruising and swelling is gone. Surprisingly, I have felt zero pain since the surgery, it was a painless procedure. It may look like I'm in pain but I promise you that I feel and have felt zero pain since the surgery. I'm on post-op medication that only cost me $34.49 For a week supply of Cephalexin, Valium, and Norco.

I'm very happy with the procedure i received from Dr. Manish shah, and feel it's a success.

I'm still swollen especially in the forehead, it's gone down a lot since the procedure. It was the size of a California grown orange and now it's the size of a kiwi (large kiwi). I've enclosed a side picture of my face so you can see the swelling (I naturally have a flat forehead, but it's swollen) It's coming out very nicely and once the bruising and swelling is gone everything will be perfect and I will look like a calvin klein model.

I have lots of bruising around the eyes which is expected and it has also gone down drastically. When I look into the mirror, I'm reminded of the old cartoon character Droopy. When people look at me, I assume they think I was beaten up by Steven Seagal.

I'm still very satisfied with the procedure I underwent. To this day I have still felt zero pain and have used up all my prescription medications. I have been consuming (3) 20 oz cans of pineapples a day. Eating plenty of steak, drinking chocolate slim fast (like I always do) for the nutrients. Water, milk, and I'm icing my forehead several times a day to help with the swelling.

If you undergo the procedure I Received nobody will ever know. People will just think you got beaten up by Steven Seagal. Or single handedly stopped 7 bank robbers in there tracks and suffered minor injuries. Either way, it's a win win situation.

Here's a recent picture of me (Taken Today) 26 days after my procedure. As you can see, the Horizontal Glabellar Crease, I had my whole life is gone. The swelling and bruising has been gone for awhile. The skin on my forehead is still tightening but not much longer before it's all back to normal.

I'm still very happy with the procedure I received from Dr. Manish Shah. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It was worth every penny and my confidence with myself has increased.
