I have 205cc high profile implants. Should I have gone with a wider mod plus profile, or larger implant to better suit my frame?

I think you have a very good result. I don’t think anything needs to be done. Of course you could have gone with a bigger implant but your result is so nice it’s hard to justify any further surgery.

Dear Friendly,   Thanks for posting your pictures. From observing your pictures you appear to be small B cup size. Looking and feeling natural in regard to breasts' size can be a personal preference . So, at the time of surgery,  you had to have an idea about your comfort level with your desired breasts size. Obviously, now, small B cup size is too small for you To become 32 C cup size you will need implants with volume of 375 cc. In most people's eyes, a C cup is a very natural size.   Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures of redo breasts augmentation in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking.                      Best of luck,                                     Dr Widder

Hello, thank you for your question.  From the looks of your photos you have an excellent result. I do not think you should do something about them.

I would wait at least 6 months to let things settle in before you make any changes.  I actually think your result looks quite good.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Hi there and thank you for your question.  My first question would be how far post-op are you?  You appear to have a very nice result and depending where you are in your recovery you might still expect some changes in the final result.  In my experience the happiest breast augmentation patients are those who I spend a great deal of time with reviewing their concerns and surgical goals in detail and evaluating their pre-operative anatomy.  Implant selection can be tricky but following the patients anatomy and allowing those measurements (specifically breast base width) to help define implant profile is very important.  Again, I think you have a very nice result but any concerns that you might have should always be directed to the attention of your board certified plastic surgeon.  Continue to attend your follow up appointments and have an honest conversation with your surgeon in regards to any concerns or questions that you might have.  I wish you all the best.

Thank you for your question and posting appropriate pictures.   while you look like you have a good result after your augmentation, some patients prefer an exceptional result and typically unless you have a very narrow chest, moderate profile is better for smaller implants.   It all depends on your dimensions and desired look.  for even a better look you would likely need slightly larger implants that are moderate or moderate plus.   best to have a consultation for precise recommendations  

The size you have now look very natural and fit your frame well. You have gotten use to this size and no longer see it as being large. Look back at photos of yourself prior to surgery. However, if you want to be bigger, discuss this with your surgeon.

This is a very natural result. Larger implants might have produced a more noticeable difference under clothing but would have been less natural without. 

I believe the high profile style is fine for your frame, maybe the ultra high profile if you want to go larger in size.  Remove and replace procedures are common and most are for size change, specifically going larger.  You will need to go at least 50% greater in size to see ANY difference, so you should be looking at something in the 300 cc range. Since most of the stretching and pulling of the first procedure is finished, second, replacement procedures are not very painful and the recovery is quick.Good Luck!
