I had a lift last year in May with implants 350cc. They dropped a lot/too much and I am not really happy with it. Should I have another lift? What was wrong in your opinion? I am 38 years old and have had 3 kids. Thank you very much in advance.
Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift The anchor lift was inadequate and 350 cc implants weigh almost 1 lb each. At this time, I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. 8% fail within the first year and 30% fail within six years. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Should I redo my breast lift and implants as I am not really pleased with it? Hello! Thank you for your question! The mastopexy (breast lift) procedure raises the breast, which ultimately provides a more youthful and perky breasts. This is done by removing the extra loose skin and rearranging the surrounding breast tissue in order to reshape and support the newly formed breast. Based on your photos you may benefit from a breast lift revision.

Answer: Bottoming out You have what we call "bottoming out." Your breast implants are heavy, and that excess weight is pulling and stretching the lower skin. A smaller implant and a small life will help give you a perkier and slightly smaller breast which will give you a more long term result.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear momof3kiddos2017, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
