You’re right: That line above your lip is probably caused by an overactive muscle. A very light touch of Botox can relax it. If the line has become grooved, a hyaluronic acid filler like Juvederm or Volbella can smooth it out. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist who’s an expert at using Botox around the mouth is essential for great and safe results.
