Can the vermillion border be augmented? (photo)

Thanks for your question.  Injection along the vermillion border and lifting the frenulum is an excellent way to enhance the look of the lip without making them too big.  From looking at your picture it appears it would work well.  I either use Juvederm Ultra or a thinner Juvederm Volbella depending on what the needs are.  If you get it done, ask for a lip nerve block as this will completely numb the upper lip and make the experience better.  Hope this helps.

Yes, it is possible to augment the vermillion border.  There are a variety of fillers that could be used and the experience of the injector will make a difference in the outcome.
