Dear Chaz, Congratulations on your pregnancy, Im sorry to say that whilst your are pregnant or breastfeeding you should not be having any treatment. In the longterm after you have had the baby and if you are not breast feeding you could look at a long term solution to your underarm sweating such as Miradry. This offers permanent results in this area. It stops the underarm sweat and odour. I have attached a link for you to review. For hands and feet you could consider Botox treatment which lasts around 6 months or your GP may prescribe a medication that you can take by mouth each day. Hopefully now the weather is becoming slightly cooler you are not suffering as much.
When pregnant, patients should not use botox, radiofrequency, oral anti-cholinergics, topical medications as well as Mira-dry. Since pregnancy is a temporary condition, usually we advocate waiting until after pregnancy to see if treatment is necessary.
For permanent relief of excess underarm sweat, PrecisionTx is a one-time minimally-invasive laser treatment that reduces sweat glands. During pregnancy any elective treatments must be avoided and only approved over-the-counter antiperspirants are recommended. Best wishes to you.
Your best options while pregnant or breast feeding is going be anti-perspirants. Botox and Dysport cannnot be used in the hands and feet while pregnant or breast feeding. For underarm sweat, I prefer MiraDry, but this should not be done while pregnant or breast feeding.
Thank you for sharing your question. The best treatment for hand, feet, and underarm sweating would be treatment with Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport, but unfortunately these are not available during pregnancy. Only OTC antiperspirants are available. Hope this helps.
Regional treatments like Botox may help improve your quality of life.Generally, reserve sympathectomy for the most severe cases after all else fails to reduce hyperhidrosis. Algorhythm is: natural supplements, oral prescription medication, Botox, thoracic sympathectomy for palmar hyperhidrosis. I have used Botox effectively for palmar hyperhidrosis. miraDry has not been FDA cleared in the US for treatment of palmar or plantar hyperhidrosis.H Karamanoukian MD FACSCenter for Excessive Sweating, established 1999
I hope you are well, thank you for your question.Look in to tap water iontophoresis you can buy a machine cheap and they work ok with hands and feet albeit they are easier to use on feet. For armpits it is Botox after finishing Breast feeding I'm afraid.
This can only be done using OTC antiperspirants. Normally I would recommend Botox/Dysport but this can't be done during pregnancy.
If you are pregnant, NO medication is legally and ethically safe. Botox is out of the question, so are anti-cholinerics. Additionally iontophoresis is not safe in pregnancy. Speak to your specialist after pregnancy as there are methods to treat your sweating, depending if you are breast feeding or not. Solutions are always possible post partum. Dr Davin S. Lim. Brisbane. Thank you for your question. Yes, Botox and fillers can treat horizontal creases in the glabella and forehead. Please in the future post photos of yourself so we can provide you with more accurate recommendations. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector in your area to help...
Thank you for your question. Botox works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle then can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. Yes, the glabella (area between the eyes) can be treated with Botox. This will widen your eye by lifting...
