Unhappy with breast lift results - is this size difference correctable? (Photos)

Question

I had a breast lift with implants done in 2023. Since then I have had nothing but problems. I have had four surgeries to correct the issues, and I am still unhappy with the results. The dr used implants larger than I selected and removed tissue from my right breast without my consent. My breasts are two different sizes. My left breast sits an inch lower on my chest and is a full cup size bigger. The dr who performed the surgery is not willing to correct this and has told me to find a new dr. Is there something that can be done? Is this size difference correctable?

While no-one has perfect symmetry when it comes to breast shape, size, or position I do agree that your asymmetry could be improved. I would recommend a revision mastopexy with an anchor pattern incision to help remove more breast tissue and improve the shape. Depending on the implants you have in place, this might also be paired with an implant exchange on the left to help improve symmetry. 
I would recommend getting your operative reports from your prior surgeon to help any future surgeons understand what has been done previously.

You can correct the size difference by using a smaller implant.  You need to get your operative report to see what size your implants are and determine what size you want.

To begin, every person has some degree of asymmetry to start out with and so perfect symmetry is really not the goal.  The goal is to make them look better then they started out and to achieve better symmetry (but not a mirror image result).

That being said, from the photo you provided you do appear to have a few areas that could be addressed:  
1.  R breast is definitely larger than the left (probably about 50-75 cc):  To fix this, I would reduce the right breast implant to better match the L
2.  The R breast appears to have a longer distance from the nipple to the fold:  To fix this, I would confirm this and perform a right base wedge excision

Again, the goal here is better symmetry and not a mirror image result.

If your original surgery is not willing to address these issues, I would get a 2nd opinion with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in breast revision surgery.   While I'm sure your PS is very talented, they may not perform many secondary surgeries and may feel that this is a little out of their comfort zone.

Yes, size and position asymmetry can often be improved, but after four surgeries this becomes a complex revision case. The goal should be meaningful improvement, not perfect symmetry.
When one breast is larger and sits lower, the issue may involve several factors: different implant size or position, pocket stretching, tissue removal, scar tissue, fold position, and natural breast asymmetry. Correcting it may require implant exchange, pocket repair, lift revision, fat grafting, or adjusting the breast tissue envelope.
Because you have already had multiple operations, I would strongly recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in revision breast surgery. It is important to bring all operative reports, implant information, and before-and-after photos if you have them. This helps the new surgeon understand what tissue was removed and what can realistically be corrected.
If the left breast is a full cup larger, it may need reduction or lift adjustment. If the right side lost tissue, it may need a different implant size, fat grafting, or reconstruction of the shape. Sometimes both sides need surgery to create better balance.
In short, yes, something can likely be done, but it should be approached carefully and not as a simple “one-side fix.” A detailed in-person exam with an experienced revision breast surgeon is the safest next step.
