I regularly see Dr Jain for my lip injections. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is extremely professional, patient and attentive to my needs. My lips always look INCREDIBLE and so natural. There is very little pain or discomfort, as the procedure is quick and the needle is extremely fine. Dr Jain is an outstanding professional and I would recommend anyone who wants fillers to seek out his services.

As far back as I can remember I always had a flabby chest. At the age of 16/17 I decided to do something about those man-boobs so joined a gym but after 4yrs of hard training I was a pretty fit young man, but my chest problem persisted. I got married and became a dad and with life came the weight and the (bigger) boobs. Over the years on the occasional diet the weight would just fall off me, but the man boobs would remain, the frustration just grew. My condition was now really affecting my whole life, I was constantly feeling self-conscious, I felt mentally scarred by it. My daughter was getting older and with it came the added pressure of………...swimming! She got to being 11yrs old and I had never taken her swimming in a public pool, I always managed to find an excuse. In fact, I quite often booked in work during the summer period just to avoid having to go on holiday as a family, I used to dread summer. Her dream was to spend the day with her daddy at a water park. “Daddy when are we going?” I became more than ever determined to live a normal life, I spent many nights until the early hours researching, I had come to terms with and accepted the fact that scars were going to be necessary given the severity of my condition, but then discovered on YouTube a procedure called Vaser. One YouTube video lead to another and I found myself repeatedly watching videos by Dr Ravi Jain, wow I thought. Googled his name for reviews and nothing really came up, but my gut instinct was telling me he was the one. After weeks of plucking up the courage, I eventually had my initial consultation 5th Jan 17 at Dr Jain’s Clinic, Riverbanks in Harpenden. I was extremely nervous driving up but once there I was greeted by his very pleasant and welcoming team. The consultation was a pleasure, I was examined by Dr Jain who is a true gentleman, we sat and had an open discussion regarding the procedure and my expectations, I was shown before and after photos of previous patients, the whole experience was very reassuring. I left Harpenden excited but at the same time very emotional knowing I finally had a way out. Within a couple of days, I had agreed to have the Vaser surgery but due to my workload I needed it done straight away, so with the help from his excellent PA everything was arranged, a date of the 10th Feb was set for surgery along with other appointments for an Ultrasound Scan (no gland appeared during the scan) and blood tests. The surgery was carried out at their rooms on Harley Street. It was an early start, 6am train into London for an 7am appointment! All I remember is one minute I’m there on the operating table chatting to Dr Jain and the anaesthetist and next I wake up being told by Dr Jain the procedure had been a success. I was quite sore and uncomfortable for the first couple of days, on a scale of 1-10 I would say 7/8, by the end of the first week things had improved (say a 5) then 10 days after the procedure I was back at work! The photos, I believe speak for themselves, I am more than happy with the results, the results I have far exceed what I believed were possible. I have no scars whatsoever and now just over a year post op I am still noticing subtle improvements. If you are reading this review you are probably feeling how I used to…desperate. Do yourself a favour and do something about it before the years run away with themselves. You only have one body, one life so get it done properly, by a professional and yes, I recommend you see Dr Jain. The changes he has made to my life are priceless. And finally Yes, I’ve taken my daughter swimming. Yes, I’ve spent the day with her at the water park And, we now have a hot tub in the garden and I’m always first one in! Dr Ravi Jain is the only person I trust with my face! Riverbanks Clinic is an amazing place, where you feel relaxed and welcome. They offer the best and honest advice. Can not recommend this place enough.

Felt my skin was dull and slack and felt very dry - felt it needed a pick me up that would be a really natural result. Dr Ravi Jain suggested the Skin Booster injections. I had the first injections a month ago and subsequently the second lot yesterday. Wow - my skin not only looks amazing but feels so supple and just feel so much more confident. I haven't felt I've had to put any make up on today - no bruising or swelling occurred (though I believe this is very much an individual experience and you can have bruising) I took some Arnica tablet before and after and absolutely free of any trace of injection sites. Was really worth it and will definitely redo in 6 months. Really big difference - so happy :-)

I can't thank Dr Jain and Team enough for the results they were able to give me. Something that has bothered me for so many years, treated in the space of an hour and in the friendliest and nicest manor. The whole process was made super smooth by Dr Jain and Team and left me with little worries about having this procedure.
Dr Jain listened to my concerns and was able to recommend the best treatments for my needs. Excellent range of treatments available and very knowledgeable about the benefits of various procedures. He immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed. Highly skilled and able to administer treatments with minimal pain and no adverse reactions. Staff at the clinic are also very efficient and friendly.
I really want to say thanks to Dr. Jain and the staff in Riverbanks clinic, because they really solved my skin problem for me; big time! Since September 2016, my skin turned really bad, with lots of spots, it was painful, red, flaky and lots of fine lines. At first, I thought it might have been the result of seasonal changes from my past experience, so it wouldn't last too long, but 6 months later, my skin was still not getting any better. In fact, it was getting worse. In that period of time, I tried so many different things which I hope it can improve it, like I cut down the daily intake of caffeine, drank even more water, swapped expensive skincare products……etc., but none of these worked. In fact my skin was getting progressively worse and worse making me so frustrated until I went seeking help from Dr. Jain. He looked at my problem and recommended me to have the signature facial treatment from his clinic and said that what I needed is to strengthen the skin from within so these skin problems would disappear over a period of time. I had 4 treatments in the first month and could see big improvements after the first treatment; it was amazing! After the first month's intensive facial treatment, my skin problem had improved hugely, with 90% of my spots gone, the skin wasn't feeling dry any longer and the fine lines were eliminated. After that, I had the other facial treatment called “Profacial” which really benefits my skin. It not only got rid of all the spots, it also increased the amount of skin collagen. I really can feel my skin is healthier, the skin tone is more even, pores smaller….etc, now 3 months after, I am really happy with my skin condition. So I would recommend stretches and some ultrasound and manual lymphatic drainage to facilitate your recovery.
Its quite normal for you to be slimmer on day 1 post op than day 6 because after day 1 your inflammatory process really starts to show and so that means swelling. Good compression garments and manual lymphatic drainage help to reduce swelling and discomfort. Typically at about 4-6 weeks you will see about 90% reduction in swelling and closer to your final result.
If you have excessive inflammation then you should take the ibuprofen. If you have bruising then that will follow its due course anyway regardless of whether you take ibuprofen or not. So if you need some meds for a headache, feel free to take them.
So it does depend on which products and technique were used as well as volume used and whether or not you have had any other fillers in the lip before. Generally speaking wait at least a week before you revisit your practitioner for a review and any adjustments performed.
Great question. I am quite liberal with my post treatment advice in that I let me patients eat and drink as soon as they feel any anaesthetic effect has worn off completely, to prevent them spilling drinks, biting their lips or any other injury. The fillers should not move around with normal lip movements. But I would refrain from heavy petting for at least 24 hours!! ;-)
