I have hollow eyes with terrible dark circles, my Doctor has suggested I go for juvaderm fillers. I have recently been diagnosed with Sjögren’s syndrome. Since then my hollows have gotten worse. Would it be safe to proceed with the treatment? Thank you in advance Rushita

Answer: Lower lid fillers You can still have fillers with the Sjogrens. However, the Juvederm products are not good for this area as they attract a lot of water and can create edema that can last many months. Better options are Restylane or Belotero.

Answer: Juvederm and Sjorgens Syndrome It is safe for you to get Juvederm with Sjorgens Syndrome. That being said, be sure to discuss with your provider the best filler suited to treat the area you hope to treat. Just be sure to let your provider know about your Sjorgens Syndrome beforehand and you should have nothing to worry about.
