Thank you for your pictures and question. Please do return to your injector. You may have or be developing an infection, they may want to put your on a course of antibiotics as a precaution. All The Best
Hello, this does not look like an infection. You should go back to the one that provided you this material.Dr K
Hello Emb, I would book in to be reviewed in person by your injector, they should be able to manage this for you. My concern is that the area is quite red and your lips do look swollen in this photo. Try not to touch the area as it may lead to an infection. Wishing you all the best
Hi Emb.I'm sorry about your filler coming out. Please get evaluated by your injector right away. The redness around the site is a concern.Good luck! Dr. ALDO
Hi, thank you for your question. You need to follow up with your injector to be treated professionally. I recommend not manipulating the area any more to prevent an infection.
Fillers layer and intersperse between the natural tissue planes within your lips. Hyaluronic acid fillers are gel like and can be expressed through small holes or needle marks in the lip. The filler will settle in and become more stable over time. It is best to not squeeze the lip after you have fillers as you can squeeze out some of the filler as you observed. No major problem. You just lose some of the volume.
Thank you for your question and photos. Based on your photos, it appears you may have a localized infection at an injection site. You will want to keep this area clean and not manipulate the area. Sometimes antibiotics are indicated. I recommend contacting your board certified plastic surgeon who performed the procedure to address your concerns. Good luck and I hope this helps.
thankyou for your question. I have never heard of filler coming out of the skin. However get your injector to have a look at you and deal with the situation.Good luck
Thank you for your question. It is not common for a dermal filler to be coming out through the skin surface on the lip (or anywhere else on the face). My advice is to return to your injector for an evaluation. Best not to squeeze the area. Good luck.
Hi Emma, Thank you for the question and photo. Yes, you seem to have a significant amount of filler above and beyond your upper lip. The only way to treat this is to dissolve that filler away. This can be avoided by the correct choice of filler and proper technique. I would consider...
Hi @realstargirl98. This appears to be lip filler migration. Hyaluronic acid facial filler products that were previously injected into an improper tissue plane can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hi @ochiexx. What you are describing is lip filler migration. Reasons for migration include how the filler was injected, how much was injected, and the type of filler used. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into...
It looks like what you have is a habitual facial tic and you have to simply become more aware of it and try to relax that side of the face. Using Botox may create some problems, but at the same time it might help you in treating the condition as long as you understand that there will be...
Hyaluronic acid based fillers like Restylane Defyne are commonly used to treat the nasolabial folds. Filler may also be injected into the midface/cheek to address volume loss and to lift up the face. This would help improve your nasolabial folds as well.
Do you know what kind of filler you had injected? Do you know why the clinic that provided you with lip augmentation is unwilling to reverse it with hyaluronidase? That is quite unusual unless there is another piece to the puzzle not included in your question. As others have stated, the...
