you can get surgery now and wait to see if you will end up with loose skin after pregnancy. Or you can wait until you are done with pregnancies and then get tummy tuck. Generally it is best to finish having children before a tummy tuck.

However, we have had many patients become pregnant after tummy tuck with minimal side effects. In most cases, unless the baby is very large or twins, you should be ok if you are not completely sure of future pregnancies.

Another option may be Vaser ultrasound liposuction with or without small lower skin excision and no muscle tightening.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your best options and expectations.

That said, it would be ill advised to undergo any significant surgery (other than possibly liposuction) prior to pregnancy since much of the advantages gained by surgery can be “undone” by your pregnancy.
