Hello! I'm ~ 5'7 and ~145 pounds (~23 bmi). My weight has fluctuated significantly since childhood, resulting in a good amount of loose skin and abdominal separation. I still need to improve my body composition and address digestive issues before getting a TT. It'll also take a few years to save up for a TT (also gives me a chance to maintain weight for longer). Would an extended tummy tuck be needed? Or would tummy tuck + Vaser liposuction + (maybe) emsculpt be enough?
Answer: Full tummy tuck likely enough. Thank you for your photos. Congratulations on your weight loss and future plans to maintain that. From your photos, it appears that a regular/full tummy tuck will adequately address all of the loose skin on the front of your abdomen, as well as repairing your muscles to flatten the foundation of your stomach, to give you the best contour. From your photographs, I do not see any localized fat deposits that would require any liposuction, ie you have taken care of that with your weight loss. Have a detailed consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon about your best way forward. Best wishes.

Answer: Tummy Tuck + liposuction vs. Extended IMHO you will benefit most from an extended tummy tuck hat will address the redundant skin in your flanks. Liposuction of this area will increase the amount of flaccidity. Good luck, Doc PG

Answer: Tummy tuck Male tummy tucks differ substantially from female because we, as men have different body shapes. The male torso should be straight from the chest down into the hips versus the female should be concave and the waist and convex at the hips. Based on your pictures, you have a significant amount of loose skin as well as a significant muscle separation (diastasis). I would recommend a conventional tummy tuck with muscle tightening, and some spot liposuction to address some localized fat deposits.

Answer: Abdomen You would probably do well with a regular tummy tuck. If needed, try liposuction with Renuvion for some tightening of the flanks and upper abdomen first with EMSculpt to see if you could later just do the mini tuck.

Answer: You Are an Excellent Candidate for a Tummy Tuck Due to Stretch Marks and Excess Skin Thank you for your question and for sharing your details. Based on your history of weight fluctuations and the presence of loose skin and abdominal separation, you are an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck. Given the amount of stretch marks and excess skin you have, a tummy tuck will provide the most effective and lasting results. No type of BodyTite or radiofrequency treatment combined with liposuction will fully address your skin concerns. These treatments can help tighten skin to a degree, but they won’t be enough to resolve the level of skin laxity you’re describing. If you were to proceed with just liposuction, you would likely be left with more excess skin, as liposuction only removes fat. This could make the loose skin even more noticeable. A tummy tuck with liposuction would be sufficient to remove the excess fat and skin, tighten the abdominal muscles, and give you a smoother contour. Whether you need an extended tummy tuck depends on how much excess skin extends beyond the abdomen and around the sides. Your plastic surgeon can assess that closer to the time of surgery. I hope this helps clarify the best approach for your goals! Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Lipo and mini tuck Hello, thank you for your question and the pics. I would say you could have a very good result from a mini tummy tuck and Vaser liposuction, however, I would emphasize a bit in recommending you to put up a bit more muscle so you can have a better result
