Age range for Aveli treatments - Who is a good candidate?

What is the typical age range of someone getting an Aveli treatment? Will this reflect in the results I'll get? I'm 35 years old with minimal skin laxity.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Aveli is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. Aveli is unique in that it allows precision and verification that the  cellulite dimple has been released and treated. Aveli works best for mild to moderate cellulite and even better with minimal skin laxity. It is not recommended for people with severe cellulite or severe skin laxity. The best way to determine if you are a good candidate is to have an in- person consultation with an experienced  board certified plastic surgeon who has performed Aveli.

Cellulite occurs from teenage years and up.  Aveli is effective no matter what age.   At 35 years old with minimal skin laxity you are an exellent candidate for aveli. That's a great question! Cellulite affects women of all ages. It can start in the teens for some women while others may not notice the appearance of cellulite until much later. At 35 with minimal skin laxity, you would be an excellent candidate for Aveli since Aveli releases the fibrous bands under the skin causing cellulite dimples. Once these bands are released, the appearance and contour is much smoother. 
You brought up an excellent point that laxity is an issue as well for many women. Combining Aveli with Attiva which delivers subdermal radiofrequency has been a game changer. This combination allows me to treat two components of lower body rejuvenation in a single treatment.

Great question. There is no age cutoff for Aveli. Rather, your skin quality and distribution of cellulite is important for a successful outcome. Furthermore, it is important to differentiate localized fat with skin laxity from cellulite. Having good quality skin with good elasticity can be helpful with the overall outcome and appearance after treatment. Make sure to discuss this with your plastic surgeon to see if you are a good candidate.

There is no age range for Aveli. Aveli is used to treat cellulite and age is not a factor. BUT certain types of cellulite is better suited for Aveli, so it is best to undergo a consultation. Your provider can circle the areas that can be treated.
