What should I expect from the treatment? How does it work?
Answer: How does Aveli work and what should I expect? After a thorough consultation and examination I will first determine the best comprehensive treatment plan to reduce cellulite from your butt or thighs. I will then differentiate and educate you on whether the areas have skin laxity, focal fat deposits, or cellulite dimples/depressions which can be circular, linear or irregularly shaped. I then provide you with treatment options for all three separate issues that create cellulite looking skin. If you have and you want help in getting rid of cellulite dimples/ depressions of the butt and thighs, i will offer you AVELI. With Aveli I can identify, release and then verify that a thigh or buttock depression/dimple is completely released. Before the procedure is started, I inject a local anesthetic into the areas I will treat. I then use the AVELI device which i pass under the anesthetized skin to identify each septa within each dimple/depression. Using the Aveli device has been an eye opening experience because I have found as many as 20 septa in one dimple! Once every septa is released, i will verify that the dimple is completely released. Following the release of every dimple, I will cover the area with an absorbent dressing and cushioned pads, along with a tight workout legging to minimize bruising and swelling post procedure. You may return to normal activities immediately after the treatment. I only ask that you avoid vigorous lower body exercise, like running for 10-14 days. I also ask that you continue Alastin topical Reform and Repair twice a day the skin feels soft and smooth. All my patients have described moderate discomfort when sitting on the treated areas for 2-3 days then minimal discomfort for up to 1-2 weeks.

Answer: Aveli This procedure goes to the heart of the problem. The dimple banding under the skin is safely cut and released. The dimple then smooths out. There is bruising and swelling. You will see nice results in several months. Fall or winter is a great time to do this procedure. JB

Answer: Aveli Aveli is a treatment that improves the appearance of cellulite in a single treatment. It can address both thighs and buttocks. Aveli is different in that it targets and severs the fibrous bands which give the dimpled appearance. Though patients may experience some soreness after treatment, there is no downtime. Answer: Aveli - how it works Aveli works by first numbing up the areas of cellulite with local anesthesia (typically a combination of lidocaine with epinephrine mixed with a balanced salt solution). After the area is adequately numbed, the Aveli device is inserted underneath the skin, and the culprit fibrous bands/septa that is causing the dimpling/cellulite will be released. This maneuver is repeated to ensure all residual bands and septa are completely divided in the area of cellulite.
