I had high profile, saline, under muscle implants 350-375 almost 2 years ago and while I understand my natural Brest bone has my breasts sitting a little further apart - they sit farther apart then I would like and a large concern is that they flatten out completely and go into my armpit when I lay down. wondering is this a case of displacement? Is this something that could have been avoided in my surgery, I'm mostly happy with my breasts but this is a large concern of mine, please help!
Answer: Placement Thank you for your question and photographs. Your photographs indicate that you do in fact have proper placement of your implant which is directly behind the nipple. It is quite common for a natural breast as well as an implanted breast to flatten somewhat when lying down. Best of luck.

Answer: Worried breasts sit too far apart (photos) - very little cleavage and laying down they sit apart. 2 years post BA. Your resolve looks very good when your upright however when you lay down flat there is lateral displacement of your breast implants. If this makes you uncomfortable the only way to correct it is with a surgical procedure to close the lateral portion of the breast implant pocket. Please discuss this with your plastic surgeon

Answer: Great results First off, your breasts look great. Second, the gap that was there before your implants will be still be there after your implants. Third, every woman's breasts fall to the side when they lie down. This is completely normal. Revision surgery is not something that you need. Hope this helps.

Answer: Great Result With Normal Breast Movement You have a great result. Revision surgery can make things worse. Wouldn't recommend touching the breasts again with surgery unless there is an actual issue. Any surgery to try and get your breasts closer together could result in a uniboob, and that is a much worse look than having a gap. The gap you have before surgery is the gap will have after surgery. Sometimes implants can help camouflage the separation by increasing the volume medially. Your gap does appear to be slightly improved. As all women who grew up with sizable natural breasts know, myself included, breasts naturally go to the side when you're laying down. Women who have not experienced this growing up may not realize this is the natural movement of the breasts when a woman is on her back. Nothing appears to be awry in your photos.

Answer: Are my breasts too far apart post augmentation? Hello and thanks so much for your questions and photos. I would like to start by saying that you've had an excellent result. When performing a breast augmentation, every effort is made to provide perfect symmetry but your body shape is unique to you and in theory, we are only enhancing what you had to begin with. Also keep in mind that although secondary procedures can sometimes "tweak" things like dissection, your first result is your best result (in most cases)!! Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon. All the best to you!!
