I am just about 1 week post op and I'm very pleased so far. I had a question after hours and Dr Geers called me in a timely manner. There is another post about the cost going up on her procedure and I feel it is a bit unfair to hold that against this Dr and give a poor review. They don't have control over facility fees outside of their location. Updated on 12 Apr 2025: I am at 5 weeks post op and the swelling is down and I am so happy with how everything looks. I don't have the pain anymore either. If you are insecure about this area and it is affecting your confidence, it's definitely worth it, in my opinion.
Hello real self community. I’ve decided to write a review/journey to my mommy makeover. I’ve booked my surgery with Dr. Geers and I am so excited! I decided to write a review because I couldn’t find a lot of reviews online of Dr. Geers so I’m hoping this review will help others if they are deciding on who to go with. I went to three different consultations. The first doctor didn’t really spend time with me and I talked to his nurse the majority of the time. The second doctor was arrogant and talked at me most of the time. His work looked good but he said he was “better than a lot of his colleagues” at least three times in a span of ten minutes. I love a confident doctor but he just seemed way too arrogant. Dr. Geers was the third doctor I met with. She spent close to an hour with me during my consultation and listened to my wants and needs. She offered different options but did not pressure me at all. I had some follow up questions and her nurse, Sherri, answered them all with patience and care. I knew if I’d go with the surgery, I’d go with Dr. Geers. After kids and breastfeeding, my breasts have disappeared and my stomach looks bloated. I thought about it some more and decided to move forward. I’m skinny and my stomach looks flat IF it’s not relaxed. I didn’t see that many reviews with bodies like mine so hopefully this can help other ladies like me. Surgery booked and I’m both anxious and excited.
I actually had my procedure (vazer lipo) done with Dr. Geers, who did an awesome job, however all of my follow up appointments have been with Dr. Bansal. I love these guys! All of my experiences with all of my visits at Elite MD were pleasant. everyone was friendly and knowledgeable being able to answer any questions or concerns I had and giving me all options to choose from without being pushy. My absolute favorite is Trish Starke She gave me my first consult and made me feel super confident in making this life change. Since the procedure my life and the way i feel about myself has drastically changed for the better. I also got some very affective skin care products that make me feel even more beautiful. Thanks to the whole team! I will be a lifelong customer for skincare and will definitely be referring friends and family.
I am a week post op and I am already having a problems with my back bc of the way I have to sleep any tips or trick that can be more comfy. I'm a side and tummy sleeper when will that be safe I was currently a 32-34b and got 520cc silicone under the muscle. Another little concern I have is I've never been one to have a strong body other but ever since my BA I've notice my armpits have had a strong Oder is this normal? Could it be the medication?
after 4 children I was left with a tummy pouch. I exercise nothing I did could get rid of my tummy pouch. I also have escoliosis one of my wait side was curvy and the other was straight I was scared at first after talking to the doctor she recommended liposuction and butt fat transfer .I couldn't be more happy she did a really good job my butt lookso really good and also my stomach and hard to tell my escoliosis .
Dr. Odunze-Geers was amazing. She has a fantastic "bed side manner" and made me feel comfortable about my first time having botox. She gave me a few options and I chose the one I was most comfortable with. I had absolutely amazing results. My husband has no idea I had it done, and keeps telling me how beautiful I look. I look refreshed and natural. I would recommend her to everyone!!!
Even as a teenager, Ive always had a pouch of fat below my belly button. I wasnt like my older sister who looked like she just stepped off the cover of a Glamor magazine. As time passed, getting older, my pouch was still there, and I began to notice my skin wasnt tight. Everything started heading south. I considered doing a tummy tuck and spoke with several Doctors. I was so afraid of what my belly button would look like. Meeting Dr. Odunze, she listened to my concerns, and I could tell she was genuine because I had a feeling of confidence and knew it would be okay. I had the surgery, and Im so pleased with my results. My bellybutton is the most natural looking bellybutton, and I love it! I can wear anything from bikinis to skin tight dressses. Thank you Dr. Odunze, Im so proud of my new look.. Any furure procedure,, Im definitely going wit Dr. Odunze. Updated on 27 Jun 2016:
I'm very happy with Dr. Odunze's technique. I wanted a slight brow lift and I didn't want to look "frozen" since I use my facial expressions in my profession. The Botox lasted the longest I've ever had...up to 5 months! She was honest and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Odunze she is a perfectionist.
I have always been unhappy with my saddle bags since being a teen. It was one of my dreams to get my thighs and my knees shaped. I have may be 2 dresses in my wardrobe, and no shorts at all, because I just couldn't wear it, though I can't say I am too ugly or way too fat. I actually went down from 156 lbs to 123 and then back up to 136 in 2 years. So I've been constantly working on pursuing good shape and body that I want. At this point, after I worked so hard on loosing weight and earning money for lipo, I thought I was ready for it. I was dreaming about getting it done for many years and then few more years I was premeditating on getting it done and then I was really thinking for another year when and where I will get it done. So I've done it and now I am not sure if it was worth it and I will see the results I so much dreamed of. Updated on 7 Apr 2014: My right side is bigger than the left one, and I am not happy with the inner line of my thighs. It is straight and there is bulging area right above where my "knees" area was done. Overall I look slimmer, but I still wouldn't be confident to wear skirts, shorts or dresses....so I don't see the point of everything then. Will see my doc by the end of the month and will see what she says. Updated on 3 Nov 2016: Going through surgical procedure is often not easy (from my personal experience and reading other reviews), especially if you didn't look that bad in the first place and if done wrongly, your appearance can go worse than better. Today, I can totally say that I am happy, that I had the courage to go through body sculpting with Athenix and Dr. Odunze (she wasn't board certified at that time, which I didn't know was important). My body shape looks great and natural whether I maintain my weight or gain a little. I had no lumps and the blooish skin color that I had right after the surgery and was so worried about, is now a normal color. There are few regrets though. I feel like my result could have been better if I was informed better by the stuff of what I needed to do before and about after care. And also some of my scars didn't heal properly, I don't know if that was doctor's fault or just a bad luck. The bottom line, if I had to do it again, I would totally do it.
This is specifically for the plastic surgery department, Dr. Geers and her team were lovely during my consultation but everything else changed super quickly. When I initially looked, the price for a BA was quoted as $6000-$8500 on their website and Michelle read that to me and confirmed it. So I booked a ($200) consultation, however they were booked out a couple of months and I kept checking the price a few times between then to make sure I knew the general price. It wasn't until I got my quote after/ around the time of my consultation that they changed the price drastically. I got quoted pretty much double of what I had seen and been told. I went to check the website again and they updated it to say STARTING at $9900 so you can understand my confusion when I saw all of that. Initially it had a price range, now it says starting at. When I brought that up and asked for a price breakdown, they offered to call me to explain. When they finally called, all they did was say the facilities and all the people (such as anesthesiologist) just increased their fees without any notice to them. You'd think because they know what it's like to get surprised with an increase that they'd have the respect to tell their patients about the increase, right? Nope they didn't inform me of anything, or take any responsibility for anything. I didn't even get a price breakdown either, Sherri just told me what's included in the price not any actual breakdown, price by price. It all seemed sketchy. I just wish they would've been more communicative and told me to expect way more than what's on website or that the price could increase from then to now. I feel like I wasted getting time off of work and $200 because if I had been told any of this information I know now, I would've never booked a consultation. I appreciate the time they spent with me but overall, it was still a very bad experience that I think people should be aware of. Please ask so many questions if you choose this place.
You can perform chest exercises after breast augmentation. However, if your breast implants are under the muscle, the implants will be pushed down and laterally (to the side) by the pectoralis muscle. This is normal. Eventually your breast implants could become more inferiorly displaced and lateralized. In women who are heavy chest exercisers, it may be preferable to place the implants over the muscle to avoid this issue.
For a certain breast WIDTH, there are different sizes and styles of implants. For example 11.4 cm WIDTH in one STYLE may be 325 cc. That same WIDTH in a different STYLE can have more ccs which would mean more breast projection (projection is how far out from your chest the implant sticks out). You do not want a breast implant that is too wide for your breast otherwise you will have implant sticking out on the sides and your arms will be rubbing against them. That could be quite annoying long term. Another way to think of implants is to keep the ccs the same but to increase the base width. For example a 325 cc implant with a base width of 10 cm will have more projection than a 325 cc implant a base width of 12 cm. Since the 12 cm is wider, the volume is spread out more and the implant will be flatter. Think of two balls of playdoh that are the exact same size (ccs). The more you press down on one, the flatter it becomes/less projection and the wider it becomes. It is still the same volume (ccs) as the other ball, just flatter and wider Hope this explanation helps. Finally, please beware of any plastic surgeon who insists on a larger implant size than you want. A certain gender - not all of them, but enough of them - is notorious for pushing too big of implants. The size selected should satisfy you as the patient, not the surgeon’s fantasy.
Of course you can "get your breasts done" now, but why?
Whatever you decide, avoid BBL surgeons whose after-BBL photos are immediately postoperative or taken while the patient is still on the operating room table. Proclaimed “experts” should have many longterm after photos if their large-volume results are truly good. Safe large-volume BBL will generally take more than one procedure. Best of luck!
Your buttocks appears to have a reasonable shape. Liposuction of your flanks, sacrum, abdomen, anterior thighs, and knees may give you the shape you’re seeking without the BBL. I’ve had several patients who’ve appeared to have a BBL when I’ve only performed liposuction An hourglass shape is not only about what’s added to the buttocks, but also about what is removed from surrounding areas
