My eyes are a bit downturned, my lower lid is retracted and I have a deep crease. i want to get a temporal brow lift, but when I tried stretching my skin my eyebrow tails raise up and I loose my arch. Is there a way to prevent this? Could I possibly have the incision below my brow instead of hairline?
Answer: Yes! Facial Sculpting with Fillers | Brow Ptosis | Browlift | Upper Blepharoplasty | Eyelid Lift Hello and thank you for your question. A formal evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. There are both surgical and non-surgical options to correct this, depending on your exact situation. For less significant issues, there are nonsurgical treatments: To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling. Surgery (browlift and/or upper blepharoplasty) is a great option for more significant improvement- for example if there is more substantial eyebrow drooping or asymmetry. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert, or an aesthetic facial plastic surgeon like Dr. Donald Groves; we are both located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lateral brow lift for facial rejuvenation It is important to know exactly what each procedure can do you based on your individualized exam. The best way would be to do a limited outer brow suspension. A board certified plastic surgeon can do an accurate diagnosis on the relationship of your eyelid and eyebrows. It is extremely important to apply the correct aesthetic proportions to the upper part of the face to get the best aesthetic outcome. We use the Naturabrow ™️ procedure which uses a small incision to reposition the brow in a minimally invasive way. This is done in a simple one hour outpatient procedure with minimally noticeable scars based on our experience with this technique in the past 10 years.

Answer: Lateral Brow Lift The most common lateral brow lift is done from within the temporal tuft of hair to avoid a visible scar. The position and orientation of the incision and skin removal can be adjusted to achieve the results you desire. This can be worked out face to face in a consultation with a surgeon highly experienced in brow lift procedures. Without photographs its hard to comment any further about your specific anatomy and options. To learn more I recommend a consultation with a surgeon highly experienced in brow lift procedures.
