I came to Dr. Patel in 2019, I was blinking so often and with such force, I could not safely operate a vehicle. The disorder I have causes "functional blindness" and is called Blepharospasm, it is a chronic neurological condition. Dr. Patel's precise injections of Botox to the muscles that control my blinking has enabled me to live a normal life. He has all but remedied my spasms through a treatment plan that targets specific muscles in and around my eyelids with Botox injections. Now, I only blink when I want to. Having facial surgery can be a hard decision to make but after seeing results from my sister and others it was easy! I have been going to Dr.Patel for several years now. I started going to several Drs in several different areas and different states because I couldn’t drive without holding my eyes open with my fingers and had horrible headaches my neck hurt from the stain none of the Drs could help me with my blephurspasms they tried but nothing they did worked it was just a waste of my time and money I was very frustrated that not one Dr could figure this out until I met Dr.Patel the injections that he gave me was a relief the very first time and I cried with happy tears he injects them on my eyelids and the edge of my eyelids along with other places where no other Dr would. I’ve been receiving Aerolase treatments from Dr. Patel, and the results have been incredible. Before starting, my skin looked dry and dull; now, it’s glowing and visibly tighter. Dr. Patel is amazing! I have a rare mitochondria disease (Chronic Progressive External Ophthalmoplegia) which makes the muscles in my eyes and face like rubber bands that have lost their elasticity. They don’t work correctly anymore. Not only did my upper eyelids droop, but also my lower lids. I’ve lost my smile. Even my eyelashes were hanging down in front of my eyes, obstructing my vision even more. Dr. Patel has come to the rescue! Dr. Patel’s expertise and precision led to the perfect laser treatment for my skin. As an Asian patient, I was especially concerned about dark pigmentation, and the Aerolase removed the discoloration and noticeably improved my skin’s texture. DO NOT go through a Co2 procedure with anyone but Dr. Patel because he uses stem cells. The use of stem cells is a complete game changer and you will be so thrilled with your results! After doing a lot of research about Co2 laser treatments I finally determined to seek a consultation with Dr. Patel. His website was by far the most informative and far surpassed any of the other sites I visited. I knew before my consultation all about the procedure and the down time and the after care/ healing process. I was absolutely thrilled to learn that Dr. Patel would be using my stem cells along with the Co2 laser treatment. With the stem cells the results absolutely exceed expected results from the Co2 alone. My skin looks incredible. The Aerolase follow-up treatments are so fast and give my skin this extra boost. People who don’t know I have done any treatments comment on how nice my skin looks. And the people who know I have had the treatments want to do it too! The outcome is worth the down time and the painful recovery period. The first week was the most painful but the vinegar washes and special cream Dr. Patel sends home with you help a ton. It took almost three weeks before I started to look like myself again and could start wearing makeup. But I will say it again. It was worth it. I look younger, more vibrant and glowy. My friend told me my skin looks brand new. Sun damage / spots - GONE. Sagging skin - GONE. Eyelids and under eyes - 10 years younger.
