I had Juvederm voluma in my cheeks before the results were phenomenal costing $700 a syringe. Now I see many injectors refusing to use it. They use teosyal, radiesse and restylyane and refuse to use Juvedem. I have used all these products and was underwhelmed with the results. I needed to repeat the treatments in all cases bc they didn't last or didn't volumize like voluma, it ends up costing me more to use these alternatives. Why aren't injectors using products that last?

Answer: Juvederm Voluma Juvéderm Voluma is completely safe to use and if injectors/clinics aren't choosing to use that specific product, it's likely a personal choice or they have better promotions with other dermal filler manufacturers. We utilize Voluma for cheeks and chin enhancement and our patients love the results.

Answer: Use of Juvederm Voluma I have used many fillers over the past 20 years, and continue to use Juvederm Voluma which is a particularly good product for the cheeks - looks natural, & lasts. Ensure you're getting your filler treatments from a highly trained & experienced physician injector (e.g. dermatologist) that offers a variety of products. Fillers can be mixed & matches, & different ones are better for lips vs. tear troughs vs. chin & jawline, & vs. cheeks; your dermatologist will guide you not only to the appropriate filler choice, but has the utmost skill that its injected properly, in the right depth & amount, & avoiding important veins/arteries/nerves, while maintaining balance & symmetry; a 2hr or weekend course doth not a skilled injector make.
