Highly recommend - so in love with the results

The best experience I’ve had in a long time with an injector. My first visit was outstanding. Everyone is so welcoming and very professional. Chantel, the best injector, filled my cheeks plus fixed my uneven existing filler in my lips after completing my Botox. Shannon followed up with me consistently and made sure to answer any question I had about post op. Swelling is now down and I am so i...

Excellent Injectors!

I have been to numerous injectors for Botox looking for someone with patience as I have a fear of needles, and Roger was my favorite hands down! He gave me an ice pack and stress ball and talked to me while he was injecting to help keep me calm. This was the first time I did not totally freak out and felt great after. He is extremely knowledgeable with the different types of injectables they...

I am so excited for my results

I have a severe needle phobia but Chantel (my nurse injector) was gentle with me and considerate of my fears. She was gentle and allowed me extra time in between pokes to ensure I was comfortable the entire time. I am so excited for my results and really appreciate the entire staff at SSA for their kindness and support throughout my appointment. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend...

Q: Cystic acne outbreak after Morpheus8 - how common is this reaction?
Answered by Annsley GreesonMarch 1, 2024

A: Unfortunately acne can occur as a side effect from lasers and microneedling treatments. This can be due to multiple reasons.. Your sebaceous glands can increase the oil production in efforts to heal the skin, all of the mcirochannels that have are opened thus leaving your skin more exposed to dirt and debris which can cause the breakouts, as well as swelling. When the pores tighten from swelling, oil gets trapped in the pores and as the swelling goes down your skin can go through a purging phase. There is a possibility your skin could break out again after another treatment, I would recommend keeping the skin very clean and moisturized but don’t over do the moisturizer, keep it light and simple.

Q: How long has Morpheus8 (and RF micro needling in general) been around?
Answered by Annsley GreesonMarch 1, 2024

A: While Morpheus8 is a newer treatment itself, modalities that are combined to achieve what Morpheus8 offers have been around for years; microneedling, radio frequency, fractional devices. I believe radio frequency devices for the aesthetics field became available in the early 2000’s, and microneedling was introduced in the 90’s. Morpheus is a fractional microneedling device that combines microneedling and radio frequency for skin tightening effects, collagen and laxity improvement.

Q: 3 months post Morpheus8, still having redness and grid marks (Photo)
Answered by Annsley GreesonMarch 1, 2024

A: It looks like the radio frequency settings were too high and they have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The best thing to do is what you have already been doing; hydroquinone, retinol, and hydrocortisone/steroid cream. Also avoiding sun exposure to the area at all costs, but it will just take time for this to fade.

Q: Could Morpheus 8 help repairing skin wrinkled by Hyaluronidase?
Answered by Annsley GreesonMarch 1, 2024

A: The best thing to do is stimulate as much collagen and elasticity in the skin as you can. This can be done through multiple modalities, Morpheus being one, that can help stimulate collagen and can improve the laxity of the skin. PRP injections would also be good to help strengthen and thicken the skin. It will take multiple treatments of multiple modalities over time to truly improve the texture of the skin where and laxity has decreased and lines have formed.

Q: Can Morpheus8 melt fat from a facial fat transfer?
Answered by Annsley GreesonMarch 1, 2024

A: Morpheus is FDA approved as a Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device, and can potentially reduce fat in small areas as well as rejuvenate the skin laxity and boost collagen production. We would recommend a minimum of 3 treatments for best results.
